EDUCATION & TRAINING
Dr. Sadiq’s academic journey includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Michigan in Dearborn, Michigan. She furthered her education by earning her Doctorate of Medicine degree at Wayne State School of Medicine, followed by a rigorous internship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Her medical training continued with an internal medicine residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Continuing to specialize, Dr. Sadiq completed her fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at one of the most esteemed programs in the nation, Washington University in Saint Louis, Missouri. This invaluable experience equipped her to manage a diverse range of complex and rare cases, both within and outside the hospital setting. She also actively engaged in research and quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing diabetes care and hormonal health. After her fellowship, Dr. Sadiq worked at Loyola University Medical Center and pursued additional board certification in Obesity Medicine.
Through her extensive training and patient-centered approach, Dr. Sadiq offers specialized medical care incorporating principles of lifestyle medicine. She advocates for plant-based nutrition, stress reduction techniques, and healthy sleep hygiene. This integrated approach empowers patients to take an active role in their health, offering a well-rounded healthcare experience that aims to build a lasting sense of well-being.
